Startup

Briefly press the button using a stick or a pen.
Watch the led reaction.


If steady (~15s):

The device is turning on and sending an initial message.

When the LED goes out, the startup process is finished. The Windbird is now up and running.

It will then perform a GPS location for approximately 45 seconds.

The first measurements will be received around 10 minutes later.

The LED will then always remains off during operation.


If slow continuous flashing:

Capacitor charging is in progress. It can takes up to a few minutes.

Once the LED stops flashing, startup continues as described above.


Shutdown

Press the button again.

The LED flashes rapidly 5 times then fades.

The Windbird is now off.
