Startup

Briefly press the button using a stick or a pen.
Watch the led reaction.

If steady (~15s):

The device is turning on and sending an initial message.

When the LED goes out, the startup process is finished. The Windbird is now on.

It will then perform a GPS location for approximately 45 seconds.

The first measurements will be received around 10 minutes later.

The LED will then always remain off during operation.

If slow continuous flashing:

Capacitor charging is in progress, wait for a few minutes.

Once the LED stops flashing, start-up continues as described above.

Shutdown

Press the button again.

The LED flashes rapidly 5 times then fades.

The Windbird is now off.
